About the Summit

Held annually since 2020, the Australia-Israel Innovation Summit is a highly anticipated event on the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce (AICC) calendar.

With the AICC’s reputation for bringing the latest insights and developments on innovation from Israel to create opportunities for Australia, the Summit is a knowledge exchange that is essential to business, government and community leaders wanting to understand and prepare for the future.

The content-rich afternoon program brings together high-level business experts and thought leaders from Australia and Israel who are solving global challenges via out-of-the-box thinking and solutions to deliver global competitiveness.

Each year a theme is selected to reflect the pressing questions faced by most industry sectors. These are not-to-be-missed conversations vital for your business to embrace change and build commercial resilience.

Why Israel

Producing more start-ups per capita than any other nation and home to nearly 100 Unicorns, Israel remains a magnet for venture capital. Nvidia—the world’s largest company—announced plans to expand its Israeli labs and campus in mid-2025, expecting to add thousands of jobs to its R&D centre, already home to its AI supercomputer ranked among the world’s top 500.

Attracting 20% of global cyber fundraising, Israel has secured USD 28B in deep-tech investment since 2019. With more than 1,500 deep-tech firms and leadership in agro-food-tech, photonics, quantum computing, and digital health, the country offers investors diversified opportunities across future-defining fields.

Israel’s innovation ecosystem continues to surge, with record-breaking exits and global investment flows including Google’s USD 32B acquisition of Wiz—the largest deal in Israeli high-tech history. M&A activity is accelerating, as private Israeli companies generated USD 9.3B in H1 2025, up 54% from the same period last year. High-tech now accounts for 17.3% of GDP and 20% of exports, underscoring its central role in economic growth and investor confidence.
